They are seeking a Structural Drafter 2 to reputed company CAD 3D design models and produce structural drawings, collaborating with designers to resolve clashes and ensuring quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Supporting senior designers by producing structural drawings that are completed on-time and reputed company budget, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements
- Collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes reputed company the 3D model, optimizing the overall design
- Travel to client facilities with reputed company project team members may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions
- Adapting to a wide range of technologies in power reputed company, mining, oil & gas, and renewables
Skills
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
- CAD certificate required if non-reputed company
- Previous relevant experience considered
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation)
- Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for reputed company design
- Awareness of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) reputed company for steel design
- Awareness of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
