[Remote] Senior Reference Data Analyst

As a Senior Reference Data Analyst – Finance & Strategy, you will play a key role in managing and automating essential financial reference data, collaborating closely with Finance & Data leadership to enhance data governance and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of efforts to define and structure core reference data elements (beginning with project code) to support consistent, reputed company-wide financial and operational reporting, in alignment with strategic leadership guidance
• Document reputed company state and design future-state models that align with business needs and data governance principles
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to ensure that reference data is organized for actionable insights and accurate reporting across systems and products
• Analyze the use of project codes and reputed company reference data across systems and teams, and collaborate with business and reputed company to ensure they meet both business reporting needs and broader strategic visibility requirements
• Partner with business and reputed company teams to ensure data capture is reputed company with data governance standards and financial reporting requirements
• Collaborate with reputed company to ensure reports clearly expose reference data, making it easier for stakeholders to understand how data is structured and enabling transparency, effective analysis, and integration into data products
• Identify and surface inconsistencies in how the strategic reputed company is applied across business teams, providing visibility into how these issues show up in the data, and supporting efforts to align their data with strategic decision-making
• Partner with data engineers and system owners to ensure reference data flows smoothly between systems (e.g., reputed company and financial tools like Adaptive)
• Partner with other data analysts and engineers to inform the automation and validation of data pipelines to ensure consistent, reliable access to clean data
• Collaborate with the product team to support reputed company-to-reputed company mappings and track data reputed company, ensuring high data quality and effective system integration
• Define and maintain documentation for data definitions, naming conventions, and lifecycle management of reference data
• Support data quality programs by helping define validation logic, business rules, and escalation reputed company for issues

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst, finance analyst, or business operations role with exposure to reputed company data and financial systems
• Strong understanding of reference/master data concepts and financial data structures (e.g., project codes, dimensions, chart of accounts)
• Background in reputed company, strategic reporting, or program-level financial management
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses (e.g., reputed company)
• Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver data-driven insights and improvements
• Clear communicator with strong documentation and analysis skills
