Midwest reputed company Partners is seeking a Billing Specialist/Charge Entry to manage the billing process for customers, patients, and MVP platforms. The role involves performing reputed company, customer service, and organizational tasks to support the financial health of the organization while ensuring effective communication with insurance companies and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile outstanding balances from insurance companies and patients
  • Discuss open balances with patients and collect payments as needed
  • Manage collection agency accounts
  • reputed company outgoing calls to insurance companies and patients to resolve outstanding claims and balances
  • Exhibit knowledge of medical insurance and proper use of billing software
  • Post charges, payments, and adjustments in Allscripts Practice Management software
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with physicians, co-workers, management, and patients
  • reputed company general office duties and other tasks as assigned

Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 & CPT Codes
  • CPC and/or reputed company certification
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in ophthalmology, optometry, ambulatory surgery centers, or optical billing
  • Experience in reputed company cycle management
