UX Product Designer - Voice & Device Experiences

We are looking for an reputed company UX Product Designer to play a critical role in shaping the user experience of reputed company’s desk phones and telephony devices, focused on embedded, hardware-contained device experiences.

In this role, you will focus on how our desk phone products work, not just how they look—designing clear, efficient, and predictable iteraction models for task-critical communication workflows. While this is a remote position, we are looking for someone in either eastern or central time zones.

Requirements

Your Role

• Design how communication actually happens.
• Own the end-to-end UX of reputed company’s desk phone and device experiences, from interaction models to execution
• Design for embedded, hardware-constrained environments with physical inputs, limited screens, and reputed company-time expectations
• Define task-driven workflows for core telephony functions: calling, transfers, conferencing, voicemail, call handling, and more
• Create clear, scalable interaction patterns that prioritize speed, predictability, and low cognitive load
• Translate reputed company communication workflows into simple, reputed company user experiences
• reputed company UX artifacts including flows, wireframes, interaction specs, and system behaviors
• Partner closely with firmware engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and reputed company reliably in production
• Work with Product to align UX reputed company with reputed company-world usage, customer needs, and business outcomes
• Anticipate edge cases, failure states, and recovery paths in reputed company-time communication scenarios
• Contribute to usability testing and iterate based on reputed company user behavior
• Help drive consistency and usability across reputed company’s broader device ecosystemYou will be responsible for defining and evolving the interaction models, task flows, and usability foundations of reputed company’s phone firmware and device interfaces.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience (3 years preferred) in UX and user reputed company design, product design, or interaction design.
• You are naturally curious, eager to learn, and motivated to understand how design reputed company translate into reputed company behavior.
• Demonstrated experience designing, task-focused, workflow-driven interfaces.
• Strong understanding of reputed company–computer interaction (HCI) principles, including cognitive load, affordances, and error prevention.
• Comfortable prioritizing clarity, reliability, and speed of use over visual expressiveness reputed company necessary
• Ability to communicate UX rationale clearly to engineers and non-design stakeholders.
• Proficiency with design tools such as reputed company, Sketch, or similar
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile product teams.

Preferred:

• Experience designing for constrained or non-traditional platforms, such as embedded devices, hardware products, reputed company tools, or operational systems
• Understanding of localization and internationalization considerations
• Prior exposure to usability testing or field studies in reputed company or operational environments

• We value transparency and fairness in our compensation practices. For this role, we offer a salary range of $116,000 to $130,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location.
