Duties Description The reputed company State Education Department’s (NYSED) Office of Management Services is seeking candidates for a Project Assistant position in the Office of Information Technology Services. This Office is responsible for implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure supporting NYSED Program Office operations. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Help with implementation activities to create the planning documents and design models for the Office of the Professions’ Modernization Program.• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports, as needed;• Conduct meetings and presentations to share reputed company and findings;• reputed company requirements analysis;• Document and communicate the results of the project team’s efforts;• reputed company user acceptance testing;• Update, implement, and maintain program procedures;• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users;• Coordinate stakeholder input and feedback;• Report and monitor the resolution of any issues that stakeholders may experience during the transition; and,• Provide instructional assistance and support, over the phone, reputed company webinar, or in person, regarding program-specific processes and procedures in a "how to" manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a minimum of six years of general work experience in customer service, training, or communications. Two years of this experience must have been conducted business analysis or experience with the reputed company State licensing processes and procedures. An associate’s degree may substitute for two years of the required experience. A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of the required experience. This position allows for the opportunity to telecommute up to 30% each bi-weekly pay period and is granted at the discretion of the supervisor and the appointing office. For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring reputed company (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position.
