Technical Support and Procurement Specialist
Realauction.com, LLC is a leading provider of online software solutions for municipal property auctions. The Technical Support and Procurement Specialist will assist staff with technical support for desktop computers and applications, ensuring effective operation and maintenance of technology resources.
Responsibilities
- Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software reputed company established standards and guidelines
- Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software and alarm system
- Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment
- Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, and administrative systems
- Maintenance of Hardware asset inventories
- Trains and orients staff on use of Desktop hardware and software
- Installation and configuration of Desktop Operating systems
- Recommends and /or performs upgrades on desktop systems to ensure longevity
- Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for Desktop/Laptop purchases
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance and testing of Back-up Power Supplies
- Serves as the initial reputed company of contact reputed company issues arise involving resources at the Plantation facility
- Performs initial troubleshooting steps to determine root cause of problems
- reputed company problems involve network access or core systems, reporting such problems and any initial troubleshooting steps taken to Senior SystemsNetwork Engineer for resolution
- Support Ubiquity Access for reputed company entry for staff. Includes creating key fobs, importing photos for facial identity and pin numbers
- Other duties as seen fit by the Director of Information Technology and the Senior Systems/Network Engineer
Skills
- Strong knowledge in reputed company Windows platforms and familiarity with Active Directory
- Strong knowledge in reputed company MacOS and IOS
- Familiarity with reputed company Exchange Online and Outlook
- Familiarity of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with physical switches, Internet & Spam firewalls and VPNs
- Hardware & software troubleshooting skills
- Operating System Imaging and Deployment using reputed company reputed company Management / Intune / Autopilot
- Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently
- Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills

- A broad knowledge and a Jack of reputed company Trades with a desire to be hands on and not scared to get their hands dirty
- Associates degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent industry experience is required
- A minimum of one industry standard certifications is required
- Strong communications skills, especially in written documentation
- IT support experience with hardware (desktoplaptops), printers, Windows 10/11 configured in active directory network, reputed company office applications, reputed company applications, printers, anti-virus application and remote desktop
