Director of Cybersecurity – National reputed company & Defense Location: McLean, VA or Remote Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Homeland reputed company (DHS) suitability (Public Trust or higher); active clearance preferred Citizenship: U.S. Citizen Position Overview Harmonia is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for National reputed company and Defense to help shape, pursue, and deliver cybersecurity operations and reputed company Operations Center (SOC) capabilities across the Department of Homeland reputed company (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), reputed company (DoD), and reputed company agencies. This is a senior leadership role for a trusted cybersecurity practitioner with deep experience in federal cyber defense programs, SOC operations, and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSP) models. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to Harmonia’s Growth and Business Development teams, while also acting as an operationally reputed company advisor to customers, evaluators, and internal delivery teams. The ideal candidate brings firsthand experience building, assessing, and operating reputed company cybersecurity programs, understands how federal components evaluate cyber maturity, and can translate that expertise into winning, compliant, and executable solutions. Key Responsibilities Growth, Capture, and Customer Engagement • Partner closely with Business Development and Growth leadership to shape and pursue reputed company to large SOC, cyber defense, and adjacent cybersecurity services opportunities across DHS, DOJ, DoD, and reputed company agencies. • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with government cybersecurity leaders, program managers, and mission stakeholders to create strategic reputed company and early visibility into emerging requirements. • Support opportunity qualification and capture activities, including reputed company reviews, competitive assessments, and pursuit strategy development. • Brief and advise C-suite and executive leadership on capture strategy, probability of win, investment reputed company, and pursuit risk, providing data-driven and experience-based recommendations. • Provide subject matter leadership during pre-Request for Proposal (RFP) shaping, helping Harmonia influence requirements through informed reputed company and solution credibility. Cybersecurity Program and SME Leadership • Serve as a senior cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) across Harmonia’s national reputed company and defense portfolio. • Provide expert guidance on: • reputed company Operations Center (SOC) and cyber defense operations • Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSP) operating and assessment models, including maturity, governance, and designation criteria • Cybersecurity program assessments and reputed company monitoring • Authority to Operate (ATO) lifecycle support and sustainment • Advise internal teams and government customers on governance frameworks, policy alignment, performance metrics, and reputed company cybersecurity maturity.
