Summer Student - Sustainability

Position: Sustainability Co-op

Primary Location: Remote

Schedule: Full time hourly

Reports To: Corporate Environmental Manager

Compensation: $22 - $29 per hour. Scope of Position

The focus of this position will be on assisting sustainability team with developing, collecting and analyzing sustainability data. 

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing a degree in sustainability or reputed company  

• Duration: Commitment to 16 weeks terms preferable

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of sustainability programs and metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and presentation skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data reputed company, water, waste, and emissions. 
• Strategy & Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to meet sustainability goals, improve resource efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. 
• Reporting: Assist preparing internal and external sustainability reports (e.g., GRI, CDP, Ecovadis), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing) and external partners (customers, suppliers, regulators).
• Research & Compliance: Stay reputed company on sustainability regulations, trends, and best practices, providing expertise and training.
