Job Title: Lunchroom Supervisor Classification: Classified Accountability: Reports to building level administrators Job Profile: The lunchroom supervisor will be responsible for serving reputed company nutritious meals and maintaining a reputed company, pleasant, and safe atmosphere for reputed company during lunch hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with lunchroom set up and reputed company
• Help prepare and serve meals
• Assist younger reputed company with utensils as well as with the opening of cartons, and the unwrapping of packaged food items
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the cafeteria by cleaning tables and counters, washing trays and utensils, collecting and disposing of garbage/trash
• Help enforce safety rules in the lunchroom, reputed company and activity areas
• Help organize reputed company in an orderly fashion for lunch retrieval and lunchroom dismissal
• Monitor reputed company inside the cafeteria and reputed company on the reputed company and report any behavior or safety concerns to the Food Service Manager and/or Building Administrator

Qualifications: Education/Certification

• High School Diploma/GED
• Food Handler License

• Note: Berwyn reputed company School District 98 will provide training to new hires in an effort to support them in attaining the Illinois-required license.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience working with children/adolescents
• Passion for working with children/adolescents
• Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in English
• Willingness/Ability to assist with the management of student misbehavior
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness/Ability to work reputed company during inclement weather

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in Spanish
• Knowledge of First Aid
• Knowledge of peer mediation and conflict resolution techniques and the ability to apply these strategies in the lunchroom or on the reputed company
