About the Role: We are seeking a VP, Data Science to lead a team of Data Scientists and Strategic Analysts. This role has responsibilities across the business - from building core product capabilities using cutting edge machine learning techniques, to working closely with our customers to help them optimize their business to partnering closely with our executive team on making key strategic decisions. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of 25+ people both in the US and internationally
• Solve complex industrial problems using advanced ML, DL, AI, and mathematical modeling and optimization techniques with involvement in the whole cycle of data science tasks. Work with engineering to build scalable solutions that are deeply integrated into every aspect of our product suite.
• Work closely with the executive leadership team to inform company strategy and drive a data driven decision making culture across the organization.
• Meet with and work with customers on understanding their most complex problems and identifying solutions using the rich data that our systems collect.
• Attend industry conferences to stay current on industry trends, challenges, and potential market opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• 12+ years of combined industry and post-graduate academic experience in a quantitative field and a proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real-world problems
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing a team of 15+ data scientists and product analysts across multiple locations at a technology company. Experience in leading an organization with managers, ICs, and technical leads.
• 5+ years working in SaaS
• 5+ years of experience in M/L
