Natera is seeking a dynamic and driven Billing Strategy Lead to join our team and lead the efforts in optimizing our prior authorization processes. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the prior authorization process for Natera's healthcare services. Conduct thorough analysis of current billing processes and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to streamline the prior authorization process. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations related to prior authorizations and billing. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the success of implemented strategies. Provide guidance and support to the billing team to ensure accurate and timely submission of prior authorizations. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for employees on new strategies and processes. Build relationships with insurance providers to negotiate and secure favorable prior authorization terms for Natera. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop messaging and materials to educate clients on the prior authorization process and benefits of Natera's strategies. Identify and implement opportunities to automate and improve the prior authorization process. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to prior authorizations and billing. Monitor and manage billing strategy budget. Continuously assess and reassess the effectiveness of strategies and make adjustments as needed. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed. Stay current on industry best practices and incorporate them into Natera's billing strategy. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the billing team. Represent Natera at industry conferences and events related to billing and prior authorizations. Lead and mentor team members to ensure continued professional development and growth.
