Our client, a highly respected non-profit organization dedicated to (mention a cause, e.g., environmental conservation or community development), is seeking a results-driven and passionate Senior Philanthropy Manager to join their fully remote development team. This vital role will focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts from individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners. You will play a key part in securing the financial resources necessary to advance our client's mission and expand their impact. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in fundraising, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep commitment to the non-profit sector. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects, developing compelling case statements, and crafting personalized appeals. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire philanthropic support. Key Responsibilities: Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors. Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to achieve annual and multi-year giving goals. Craft compelling proposals, grant applications, and donor communications tailored to individual donor interests and capacity. Conduct prospect research to identify potential new donors and funding opportunities. Build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and community leaders. Collaborate with program staff to develop impactful stories and communication materials that highlight the organization's work. Organize and execute donor engagement events and activities (virtual and potentially in-person as needed). Track donor interactions, contributions, and pipeline progress using CRM software. Provide regular reports on fundraising progress and donor engagement activities to leadership. Stay informed about philanthropic trends and best practices in the non-profit sector. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising, with a strong emphasis on major gifts and individual donor cultivation. Demonstrated success in soliciting and closing significant gifts ($50k+). Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Proven ability to build rapport and cultivate long-term relationships with diverse donor populations. Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities. Proficiency with CRM database management (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and fundraising software. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
