Vice President - Private Wealth Business Development Palmer Square is currently seeking candidates for a Business Development position focused on the Private Wealth channels. This position offers a unique opportunity to not only work with a growing firm, but also a collaborative sales team. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for territory revenue growth in the private wealth channel through new business development and management of existing relationships
  • Maintain deep understanding of Palmer Square investment products
  • Develop territory business plan with executable goals and targets
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as necessary or assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Works well independently and with minimal guidance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish business plan with fundraising goals and targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively problem solve

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field is preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63
  • Minimum of 5 yrs experience in business development in the RIA, IBD and Wirehouse channels
  • Successful track record of building new relationships and fundraising in specified markets
  • Strong understanding of financial products: ETFs, mutual funds, private funds, BDCs
  • Experience dealing with credit/fixed income and/or alternative products assets is a plus
