Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and surpass sales targets through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify new market opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
  • Engage in outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, and presenting tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers by utilizing negotiation skills, understanding client requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness in the marketplace.
  • Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data for insights, and optimize sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage complex technical sales processes by translating product features into value propositions for clients in various industries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and tools used for lead generation and brand positioning.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce; ability to understand complex product offerings.
  • Demonstrated business development capabilities with analysis skills to identify opportunities for growth.
