Responsibilities
- Implement procedures to mitigate workplace hazards.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Investigate accidents and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Mentor and train EHS technicians and frontline staff.
- Collaborate with operators and leaders to enhance safety protocols.
- Maintain safety documentation and regulatory reporting.
- Analyze and monitor trends in workplace injuries and illnesses to drive improvements.
- Support safety program implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in EHS or related field, with a strong understanding of worker safety
- Experience working with safety management systems and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for building local and global relationships.
- Ability to drive process improvements and strategic safety initiatives.
- Capacity for analysis and problem-solving with a strategic vision.
- Experience in incident investigation and regulatory reporting.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in Lean Manufacturing and safety improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes and sustainability practices.
- Experience in new safety program introduction and innovation.
- Basic understanding of human and organizational performance concepts.
