About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Analytics Contractor to act as a senior analytics partner for a leading consumer technology product organization. This is a hands-on, execution-focused engagement designed to accelerate progress on high-priority analytics needs during a period of constrained capacity. You will deliver high-impact analysis, experimentation, and reporting that directly informs product strategy and business decision-making. Success in this role means operating independently, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and consistently delivering high-quality outputs on agreed timelines.

What You Will Do

Own and deliver advanced analytics for defined product and business domains, working with large and complex datasets to answer high-priority questions using statistical, causal, and exploratory techniques. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and quasi-experiments) to measure feature impact and inform product iteration, and you will develop and validate metrics and dimensions that monitor product performance and business outcomes. You will build and maintain analytical artifacts such as queries, dashboards, and readouts that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions, and you will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to align on methodology, assumptions, and interpretation. You will communicate clear, concise insights and recommendations through written and verbal channels, including leadership-ready readouts, and you will leverage AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to increase efficiency and automate repetitive analytical tasks where appropriate. Must Haves: Your Expertise: 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis in an industry setting. Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R). Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real-world product problems. Experience building metrics end-to-end, including definitions, validation, and implementation in data pipelines. Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to balance rigor with speed and clearly communicate tradeoffs. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver against agreed timelines. Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in marketplace, product analytics, or business strategy contexts is strongly preferred. Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows is a plus. Key Details Location: Remote, US based. Start Date: June 2026 Duration: 6 months, with strong possibility of extension Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week). PST strongly preferred Pay Rate Range: $100-$128 per hour Position Type: Contract Apply To This Job
