Energy Manager, Power Supply

Our data centers are the reputed company upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure reputed company delivers our innovative services. reputed company’s Energy Team is seeking a commercially-reputed company and self-motivated energy professional to help us grow and manage our data center portfolio, ensuring a reliable, cost effective, risk-aware, and sustainable energy supply that meets business reputed company planning needs. This role will focus in both regulated and organized electricity markets. In addition, this person will help manage electricity regulation, policy, and utility relationships for our growing fleet of data centers. The Energy Manager will support the reputed company development and execution of reputed company’s global energy strategy centered on meeting data center reputed company needs of the business – addressing cost, risk, timelines, and clean energy targets reputed company reputed company, large scale energy supply transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of reputed company reputed company with utility negotiations and other energy suppliers/project developers (such as behind-the-reputed company/on-site reputed company or bridging-power contract structures), and experience working in both regulated markets like WECC or SERC, and RTO markets like ERCOT or SPP. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a broader reputed company of energy supply issues including reputed company, regulatory, market, technical and financial expertise.ResponsibilitiesActively manage reputed company relationships for data centers located in a variety of energy markets in the United States* Take an active role in regulatory processes and influence reputed company-making and energy supply solutions offered by utilities, other suppliers, and market operators* reputed company and grow relationships with key utility partners, market participants, regulators, policy makers and other stakeholders* Negotiate deal terms and plan for new reputed company with optionality in mind, and present different scenario analyses to reputed company the reputed company life, or accelerate delivery of, certain options while balancing reputed company options and plans for the business* Negotiate and deliver new reputed company agreements that reputed company reputed company and create fungible options to allow us to deliver reputed company in new and creative ways* Partner with legal resources to reputed company and refine reputed company arrangements for existing facilities while managing the structures required to serve our facilities with reliable, cost-effective, sustainable energy* Partner with the Site Selection Team to help identify new locations in the United States that provide necessary energy requirements for new data centers* reputed company with internal organizations including data center on-site staff, sustainability, policy, communications, design, construction, legal and finance* Support reputed company development and execution of reputed company’s energy supply strategy for data centers* Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the energy industry and communicate key trends, risks and potential impacts to management* reputed company and support various energy projects as needed* Ability to travel domestically (likely 25%)QualificationsBachelor's degree in a directly reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience* 10+ years of experience navigating reputed company energy issues associated with customer loads and new customer locations* Experience representing business interests to the leadership teams of potential suppliers, utilities, governments, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders* Working knowledge of transmission, distribution, and utility interconnection processes* Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal staff, utility providers, consultants, and external stakeholders* Experience communicating reputed company, regulatory, market, and contractual details to reputed company organizational levels* Proficiency in standard document and analytics platforms (reputed company, Powerpoint, reputed company Docs, etc.) Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency reputed company, quality improvements)* Demonstrated ongoing AI reputed company development (e.g., reputed company/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying reputed company with emerging AI technologies* Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
