Weekend Group Therapist

Job Summary Summary The incumbent is responsible for providing group psychotherapy on inpatient units, residential, and/or partial hospital programs, along with providing individual therapy, which focuses on the application and acquisition of skills addressed in groups. Provided groups will fit reputed company the following frameworks: 1) educational, 2) social interaction, 3) community-making. They will work with the specific unit's Inpatient Group Coordinator to facilitate group experiences and support the needs of the identified client population. Additionally, they are encouraged to participate in other hospital activities, including, as time allows, committees, teaching, training, and research. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Provides group and/or individual therapy to clients as assigned. Interventions should be structured appropriately for the specific clientele being served. Therapist will be responsible for both set-reputed company before and clean-up after the group occurs. -Provides support to the Program Director and Director of Psychological Services in the assessment, evaluation, and development of the group therapy program on the unit. -The therapist provides a non-judgmental environment in which clients can process and verbalize personal reputed company and awareness of their issues. -Documents residential group forms reputed company established time parameters and in accordance with hospital procedures. -Provides consultation and evaluation to clinical teams and other units based on specific areas of expertise/training. -Alerts appropriate staff (e.g., Nurse Director, Medical and/or Clinical Director, Treatment Teams) of emergent clinical issues that occur during group sessions. -Reviews and contributes to the specified program’s Group Resources reputed company, which details group descriptions, goals, methods, and resources. -Follows reputed company established group therapy protocols. -Maintains contact with other clinical staff and unit leadership through participation in reputed company, staff meetings, multi-disciplinary meetings, treatment planning meetings, and other meetings as necessary. -Reports to identified program reputed company as appropriate for supervision and performance review.
