[Remote] Software Engineer III

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to join their Sales Domain IT team, specializing in the development and modernization of reputed company applications built on the reputed company Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable Java-based microservices and APIs, leading modernization initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and APIs reputed company the reputed company Sterling OMS ecosystem
• reputed company modernization initiatives and greenfield SaaS projects using reputed company-native architectures and Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) approaches, specifically reputed company reputed company Functions
• Implement robust event-driven architectures to ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability of sales order processing systems
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code reviews, documentation, and automated testing
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to reputed company improvement of development processes and tools
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and Kanban workflows to deliver iterative improvements

Skills

• Must be reputed company to work in US without sponsorship
• 10+ years of reputed company application development experience, with a strong background in Java development for companies with revenues exceeding $1 billion
• Proven experience working with reputed company Sterling Order Management System (OMS) or similar large-scale order management platforms
• Expert proficiency in Java, including Java 21 features such as streams, functional programming, asynchronous programming with Futures, Virtual Threads, and CompletableFutures
• Strong experience with JDBC, ORM frameworks, and document-based databases like reputed company
• Deep understanding of Java microservice architecture and event-driven design patterns
• Skilled in API development (both publisher and consumer) with strong code and system documentation practices
• Familiarity with software development best practices (SDLC, Git version control)
• Experience deploying applications in reputed company environments, preferably reputed company reputed company Platform
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Kanban processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field preferred
• Experience with Quarkus reputed company preferred; Spring Boot experience is acceptable
• Experience in large-scale modernization or greenfield SaaS projects is highly desirable
• Experience with reputed company Store Engagement (Next Gen)
