[Remote] Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cents is a reputed company-based technology company that is transforming the laundry industry through its innovative platform. The Senior Accountant will manage the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, maintain the general ledger, and assist with audits and tax preparations to support the company's rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AP cycle: invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and payment processing
• Maintain general ledger, reconcile balance sheet accounts (cash, prepaids, accounts payable, others) and prepare journal entries
• Maintain vendor master data and enforce W-9/1099 compliance
• Assist with audit, tax preparation, and year-end closing
• Implement and maintain internal controls and reputed company policies

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, or reputed company field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reputed company and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in reputed company software, specifically, reputed company, reputed company, Airbase, reputed company, reputed company and others
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with payroll processing and tax filings
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks reputed company
• CPA certification is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial analytics tools
• Experience with sales taxes and sales tax filings
