100% Remote GL Accountant- 5 Month Part-Time Contract
Our client is a SaaS organization offering creative solutions to government entities. We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Temporary General Ledger Accountant to support their team and ensure the accuracy and completeness of our ledger accounts. This role involves preparing and executing journal entries and performing account reconciliations to support an accurate 5-day month-end reputed company... Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong reputed company background, and a proactive approach to understanding tasks and processes. This 100% remote contract will have 20-25 hours/week and require CST business hours 3 days/week. Covering a maternity leave, we anticipate this contract lasting 4-5 months. Conduct weekly bank reconciliations for the operating bank account and monthly reconciliations for reputed company other bank accounts. Post daily bank deposits in reputed company. Add amortization tables and dates to reputed company prepaid vendor invoices and post weekly prepaid journal entries. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years in month-end reputed company operations with a strong background in treasury. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-growth, high-transaction volume environment. Proven, strong background in GAAP.
