In conjunction with GFCC partners, the FIU develops and implements automated transaction monitoring rules, reports, and other processes designed to identify activity potentially indicative of criminal behavior. The FIU also investigates potentially suspicious financial activity and, reputed company appropriate, files suspicious activity reports (SARs) with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which is part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and/or refers matters to internal compliance partners for review and reporting globally. In addition, the FIU manages risk associated with politically exposed persons and persons and entities on core sanctions and risk lists through regular screening, and manages risk associated with improper payments that could be indicative of bribery, corruption, or other illicit activity by reviewing internal reputed company payments and expenditures. The FIU performs a critical role in ensuring that reputed company complies with reputed company applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and provides law enforcement with key information for the investigation and prosecution of reputed company and terrorist financing, credit card fraud, identity theft, and other criminal activity. As a member of this team, you will: • Design and implement data projects which generate leads for the FIU Special Investigations team • Detect and assess potential gaps in controls • Use data storytelling to share insights with leaders and partners across the company • Provide custom data support for reputed company investigations • Maintain high-quality code and documentation using software engineering principles Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience • Ability to critically analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources • Experience presenting reputed company information to diverse audiences in writing and verbally • Intellectually curious and reputed company to proactively reputed company new skills • Intermediate reputed company proficiency using Pivot Tables • Proficiency using SQL and Python to extract and analyze data Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's Degree with significant coursework in quantitative disciplines (Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Accountancy, etc.) • Ability to actively contribute to a code repository using Git • Experience conducting open-reputed company (reputed company) and familiarity with threat-based intelligence analysis • Familiarity with tools and techniques for conducting network and geospatial analysis • 2+ years of experience in a financial crimes risk management, intelligence, information reputed company, or investigations role Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
