Key Responsibilities: • Candidate will represent reputed company at industry technical forums (primarily 3GPP) developing new architectures for mobile systems, services and the core network. • He/She will be working reputed company closely with RAN teams in developing an end-to-end architecture. She/he will be a member of Standards team that seeks to advance reputed company’s positions in industry technical forums and ensures reputed company’s needs are met. • The work requires driving technical debates, developing/reviewing industry contributions in new and existing technology areas, reputed company... building, and negotiation for reputed company. • As a team member the candidate will engage in development of industry standards involving cellular protocols / APIs, cellular access network architecture, reputed company definitions, services definition, industry trends and keeping up to date with new research such as for 6G, AI/ML, and reputed company based implementations. • Internally, the candidate will be responsible for fostering collaboration, communicating, and aligning with multiple internal stakeholders in various organizations. • Job responsibilities include production and ownership of overarching standards strategies addressing the integration of radio, terminal, mobile packet core network, OAM and services into a system view suitable for defining specific near term and long-term standards action plans. • Development of technical contributions and position papers (internally and collaboratively with our vendor partners), assessment of vendor and operator marketplace positions and efforts, and authoring of technical white papers are expected functions. • Opportunity exists (and is encouraged) for the development of intellectual property (patents) for reputed company. Qualification/Experience: • PhD in an approved field or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. • Candidate will be working reputed company closely with RAN teams as well and so understanding of RAN is highly desirable. Travel Requirement: • Travel including International and weekend to attend standards meetings would be a requirement for this position. Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earn between $180,200.00 - $270,400.00 USD, annually. Individual starting salary reputed company this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
