Graduate Research Assistant
This new full-time post is available from 1 November 2024 on a fixed-term basis until 17 February 2025. The post reputed company wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant to support the work of Professor Ed Keedwell. This reputed company funded post is available from 01/11/24 to 17/02/25. The successful applicant will research and reputed company computational methods for controlling and predicting operation of clean technologies including working on a range reputed company tool for alternatively fuelled vessels. Using data from publicly-available sources and data provided by the industrial partner, the role will involve the development of computational (e.g. machine learning and optimisation) tools to predict the remaining range of alternatively fuelled vessels, taking into account vessel history, powertrain characteristics and environmental factors.
