What You Will Do

As Director of Engineering for AdTech team, you will reputed company our Display booking application development. You will be managing a global team of 30+ engineers over time. The role entails the following responsibilities: • Technically reputed company and mentor a high-performance engineering team, engineering managers and provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality products • Build and manage relations with the business partners and understand their business requirements. Closely work with the Product Management, Architects, and cross-functional teams • Work with stakeholders to define the future roadmap of the products, adopt latest technology innovation wherever necessary • Build tools and automation to prevent re-occurrence of problems to mission-critical products and services and engender reliability and availability, starting with metrics and measurements • Define engineering practices, product development patterns and drive products development to scale to reputed company requirements. • Follow agile methodologies and program practices in product development lifecycle and focus on team productivity improvements using right tools and processes. • Hire talent, mentor and grow the team. • Proactively monitor, identify and resolve customer issues. What You Will Bring • Domain expertise in AdTech focused on Display and Video • Strong engineering leadership expertise in reputed company to large size company. • Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams. • Leading large scale systems in fast-paced environments, • Expertise in multiple distributed technologies (e.g. Spark/Storm, Kafka, Key Value Stores, Caching, etc.) and web application stacks (ReactJS, Node, Java) • Experience managing web application teams • Experience in one or more public reputed company technologies like GCP, Azure, etc. • Experience in working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies. • Excellent communication skills. • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a reputed company technical field and 12+ years of industry experience.
