Warehouse Worker - Mid Morning/Day Shift - Austell, GA

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Mid Morning/Day Warehouse Worker in Austell, GA. Hiring Immediately! $19.75 Hourly Monday through Thursday 10am to 7:30pm Friday - 10am to 2pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities • This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products reputed company the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery. • Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include reputed company and KEA. • Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries. • Replenishes inventory lines as needed. • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, reputed company, or product code. • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas. • Marks materials with identifying information. • Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary. • Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. • Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (reputed company Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc). • Assist with counting of inventory. • Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team reputed company and management. • Other duties as assigned by the Morning Manager, Supervisor, and reputed company. Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations • Forklift Certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
