Vendor Management Director (Remote)

Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE: Provides leadership to CareFirst's reputed company-party vendor management strategy and execution. The Director helps to build the vendor management office at CareFirst and will collaborate with leaders and internal stakeholders across reputed company Business Units to ensure that the management of vendors is executed consistently and reputed company across reputed company levels. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or reputed company field OR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Experience: 8 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier collaboration, development and/or compliance. 3 years management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in reputed company industry or other highly regulated environments. Advanced degree or professional certification in procurement or vendor management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to learn new software and vendor management tools. Ability to quickly and consistently establish rapport to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and service providers. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of supplier or reputed company-party management. Knowledge of negotiating reputed company and work orders. Strong financial acumen. Must be reputed company to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, reputed company set expectations for service excellence. Must be reputed company to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging. Salary Range: $137,840 - $255,866 Salary Range Disclaimer The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
