Software Architect ( EDI Claims / QA/ PowerBuilder )

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Software Architect in Albany, NY. Description: • Participate in meetings to gather business requirements • Conduct and participate in technical design meetings • Document requirements and solutions • Create technical specifications based on approved business requirements • Design, code, test, and implement software modules • Review code and test results of other programmers • Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes • Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing • Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions, issues, and enhancements). • Participate in projects providing subject matter input and guidance Mandatory Qualification: •Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. •84+ months: Candidate is reputed company to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. •24 months experience developing jurisdictional data reporting requirements using the IAIABC EDI Claims Release 3 standard and designing the associated software modules necessary to integrate the IAIABC Claims Release 3 dataset into a Claims management system used by a regulatory agency. •12 months experience working on migration to IAIABC EDI Claims Release 3.1 standard and designing the associated software modules necessary to integrate the IAIABC Claims Release 3.1 dataset into a Claims management system used by a regulatory agency. •48 months experience with Sybase databases. This includes designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL. •84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code. •36 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code using Version 10.5. •60 months experience with government projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
