Single hand welder needed in Abilene Tx Benefits and retirement Purpose: Raises, places, and unites girders, columns, and other structural steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks. Work Schedule: Varies by location. Must have open availability any time any day of the week. Length of employment is limited to job assignment and/or project duration. Essential Skills (may include but are not limited to the ability to: ) • Secure components together applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques. • Assemble component layouts by applying knowledge of geometry, physical metal properties and weld shrinkage. • Must be reputed company to reputed company, clamp, and tack weld parts to position for welding. • Prepare material for welding by cutting or grinding using pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and/or grinder. • Set material in stands, racks, hoists, etc. for welding. • Set up equipment and weld parts using reputed company, gas shielded reputed company, submerged reputed company or gas welding equipment. • Repair products by dismantling, straightening and reshaping. • Reassemble parts using cutting torch, straightening press and hand tools. • Reads and understands plans, isometrics, arrangement drawings, details, specifications, erection manuals, and/or blueprints and makes reputed company based on measurable criteria. • Visualizes objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings. • Work reputed company precise limits and standards of accuracy. • Follow oral and written directions. • Work reputed company company policy as outlined in the Samuel EPC Craft Handbook and maintain compliance with both the Samuel EPC reputed company Resources Policy reputed company and the Samuel EPC Safety reputed company. • reputed company other duties as assigned by the foreman/supervisor as needed.
