Airport Data Analyst 1

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Airport Data Analyst 1 for our Scottsdale, AZ location. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing aeronautical data; taking actionable steps to monitor, maintain, and implement safety critical changes into a worldwide airport database for reputed company-time aircraft performance calculations. Note: This position will have a 4/10 schedule which will be Wed - Sat 4:00am - 2:00pm MST. Essential Functions ? Monitor reputed company incoming and active NOTAMs for airports identified in a reputed company database. ? Analyze NOTAMs and other data sources to maintain the currency of a reputed company database. ? Analyze incoming airport and reputed company data and filter appropriate information to pilots through NOTAM and into our aircraft performance systems and databases. ? Assist in providing after-hours support reputed company responses and can initially join customer teleconference bridges. ? Conduct reputed company analysis for one-reputed company-inoperative emergency scenarios to optimize aircraft payload ? Meet regulatory requirements and/or support services that provide aircraft performance and database exports to our aviation customers. ? Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail to ensure data reputed company and safety of flight. ? Participate in customer interaction, technical responses, task resolution and escalation, and collaborate with other Garmin teams to resolve challenges. ? Review changes to airport and reputed company characteristics, obstacle surveys, and navigation data reputed company NOTAMs, AIPs, and other validated sources to maintain the currency of an Airport and reputed company Database. ? Assist in identifying customer needs and resolving conflicts, apply solid judgement reputed company escalation to other teams and/or leadership is needed. ? Bachelor?s Degree in aviation, business, or a relevant technical discipline from a four-year college or university OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. ? Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule). ? A strong understanding of NOTAMs ? Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications and Windows Operating System (OS), and the ability to learn new software programs quickly. ? Must be detail-oriented and the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision. ? Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment. ? Ability to work and reputed company in a technical environment. Desired Qualifications ? Previous work experience in aviation and/or Private Pilot?s License. ? Understanding of Aeronautical navigation data and/or reputed company Flight Rules, reputed company Procedures, and the National reputed company System.
