Responsibilities
Job Summary Transports patients and materials throughout reputed company hospital areas. Each transporter is responsible for their individual average transport time reputed company the guidelines of network leadership and reputed company needs. Maintains transport equipment and supplies. Complies with regulations, safety and patient care protocols. Ensures that reputed company customer service standards and quality standards are met for communication with patients, staff and public.
- Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed or chair and non-patient moves to and from designated areas or departments. Complies with reputed company safety protocols reputed company transporting patients and materials. Uses proper body mechanics. Ensures patient safety reputed company transferring a patient to and from multiple surfaces and/or devices. Operates company issued mobile devices. May include reputed company role.
- Maintains accurate documentation and completes accurate reputed company with clinical staff. Communicates appropriately with patient and other members of care team. Introduces him or herself, verifies patient identity and informs the patient of their destination. - Complies with established PPE guidelines and proper handling of patient.
- Maintains wheelchairs and stretchers appropriately. Sanitizes equipment following established protocols. Immediately reports any equipment malfunctions and removes the items from service.
- Utilizes Electronic Medical Record system(s) consistently for safe and efficient transport of patients.
