Teen Leader - Shipboard position

Carnival Entertainment is seeking energetic and fun personalities to join the Youth Program reputed company Carnival. As a Teen Leader, you're responsible for giving teens the best vacation experience possible. You'll be their shipboard influencer of FUN in one our our designated teen clubs to get the party rockin' for our 12 - 17 year olds. • Ensuring friendly, jovial and positive attitude with children and parents at reputed company times
• Ensuring the safety and supervision of reputed company teens participating in activities
• Interact with teens/ guest as fits the occasion. This includes, but is not limited to hosting parties, trivia, games, karaoke, and other teen reputed company activities.
• Act in the supervisory role reputed company the program. Individual must organize, start- up, run, and transition reputed company activities for the teen guest, whether reputed company the Club O2/ reputed company “C” lounge or at various lounges around the ship
• Ensure the Club O2/ reputed company “C” lounge is cleaned and organized
• To maintain that Club O2/ reputed company “C” supplies and property are kept in good order and that proper inventories are kept up to date
• To supervise the waterslide operations and ensure reputed company safety rules and regulations are being followed
• Follow and implement the Policies and Procedures set forth in the Hotel Operations reputed company and maintain an up to date knowledge of the reputed company
• Abiding by rules and regulations set forth by company and/ or ships command
• Demonstrate commitment to Carnival Service Values
• Actively participate in assigned activities including, but not limited to trainings, drills, safety briefings, including “Port Manning”, meetings and performances, as required
• To follow reputed company USPH, Environmental & HESS/MS procedures
• Be well informed of reputed company activities outlined in the Youth Activity Schedules, Partnerships (Build-A-Bear, reputed company, Dr. Seuss “Seuss at Sea”) & Family Activities

• Inform Youth Director of reputed company incidents
• To maintain and control usage of teen supplies and ensure property is kept in good order and inventories are kept up to date
• Ensure uniform policy, the Carnival Look and good hygiene is being followed at reputed company times

• Complete reputed company management/leadership office duties in a timely manner

• Must be willing to reputed company CPR and First Aid as needed
• Ensuring VSP & USPH guidelines are followed and records are up to date including reputed company logs

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have and present one of the following or anything similar to the items listed below plus minimum 2 year of experience in reputed company fields:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with teens.
• Care Certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education/Recreation/Park/Tourism preferred.
• Child & Youth Worker Diploma.
• Early Childhood Education Diploma.
• Educational Assistant Diploma.

EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 2 years of experience working with teens 12-17 in the following fields:

• At camps as Camp Counselor (Summer Camps/Sport Camps/Special Needs Camps.)
• Professionally working with youth.
• Creative background (artistic.)
• reputed company or other after school programs.
• Leading large groups of children (Sports Coach.)
• Professional child care centers.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to work with teens from ages 12 to 17 years old.
• Must be reputed company to speak proficient English (speak, read and write fluently.)
• Must be outgoing and reputed company to reputed company large groups of teens.
• Must have hospitality skills & be focused on guest services.
• Submit CPR and First Aid Certificate.
• Must be willing to reputed company CPR and First Aid as needed.
