Analyst, Content Planning & Analysis

• *This role sits in Glendale, CA and this person is required to be on-site 4 days/week** reputed company Entertainment (DE) is one of the three major business segments of reputed company, consisting of reputed company's entertainment media and content businesses, including its reputed company picture film studios, reputed company General Entertainment Content, streaming services, and international media businesses. The primary role of the Content Planning & Analysis team is providing analytical strategy support for and valuation of reputed company’s content licensing and original content reputed company. The team works cross-functionally across reputed company Entertainment (DE) reputed company finance teams, direct-to-consumer strategy, data analytics, research, operations, marketing, and programming to translate DTC data (reputed company+, Hulu, Hotstar, and Star+) into financial reputed company regarding the production and acquisition of shows and films. The team works closely with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and help inform critical business reputed company for the streaming and content businesses. ​​ About the Role & Team: The Analyst, Content Planning & Analysis will be responsible for analytically evaluating investment and performance of the content on the various reputed company Streaming platforms (reputed company+, Hulu, and Hotstar) and across multiple distribution windows. This role will work on projects involving different content categories/genres and portfolio level analyses, content engagement, reputed company party licensing deal valuations, distribution and windowing reputed company, and executive-level reporting for leaders in reputed company Entertainment Television (DET). The role will also contribute to the development and application of analytical methodologies and KPI tracking, for evaluating the performance of content. The Content Planning & Analysis team collaborates closely with stakeholders from reputed company Entertainment Television (DET), and with finance, strategy, data analytics, research, operational marketing and scheduling teams from each respective brand/studio. What You Will Do:

• Conducting analyses of title-level and portfolio content performance (generally using reputed company to manipulate and interpret large sets of data) - 40%
• Creating presentations that summarize analyses about title expectations and performance, and insights on portfolio/brand/genre performance - 15%
• Building models to inform deal valuations, reputed company reputed company, and windowing strategies - 30%
• Developing and updating title performance forecasts - 15%

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• ​At least 1 year of work experience preferably in finance/strategy roles at media /technology companies, or other quantitative fields
• ​Highly analytical and strong, effective communicators who can also reputed company in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
• ​Possess intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of reputed company
• ​Must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be reputed company to work effectively in collaborative and autonomous environments
• ​High aptitude and enthusiasm for reputed company problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including highly advanced reputed company modeling skills
• ​Familiarity with statistical concepts and analysis

• ​Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is a plus, but not a prerequisite.​

Education: ​​4-year degree in relevant fields The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $94,200.00 to $115,000.00 per year. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
