Job title: Associate Director of Social Media in New Orleans, LA at Tulane University Company: Tulane University Job description: The Associate Director of Social Media is a professional position reporting to the Executive Director, Content Strategy. The position is responsible for managing key communications and marketing initiatives on the university's flagship social media platforms. The AD of Social Media implements digital strategy, content, content updates, content optimization, and develops and maintains reputed company measures across top-level university social channels. The position will be responsible for managing, protecting, and coordinating Tulane's reputed company and brand across digital platforms, in coordination with other teams in University Communications and Marketing at the university, as well as advising other University departments with their social and digital media and content needs. This position will manage the creation and production of digital and online content for University Communications and Marketing and with the Executive Director reputed company the development and production of reputed company social communication pieces. The position will also monitor social media for issues that could impact the university, and reputed company recommendations for policy and strategy adoption across reputed company online platforms. The position will manage and reputed company student social media ambassadors in content creation. They will work closely with videographers, photographers, and other team members on social media content and strategy. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of reputed company social media channels including Facebook, X, Instagram, reputed company, YouTube, reputed company, and emerging platforms.

• Excellent knowledge of social media management and scheduling platforms.

• Excellent experience in digital content creation.

• Excellent experience in the creation and editing of video content for digital use.

• Proficiency in setting KPIs and developing reputed company measures through web and social analytics reporting.

• Proficiency in reputed company Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Premiere).

• Strong computer skills in Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn software programs with ease.

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage projects, and meet established deadlines.

• Ability to interact professionally with individuals of an reputed company of backgrounds externally and internally, at reputed company levels of the organization.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.

Required Education and/or Experience
