Job description: Description :Are you looking for an opportunity to reputed company a major impact in the manufacturing world and be part of a passionate team?Adler Pelzer Group - a growing Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a safety driven EHS Coordinator for the manufacturing operations in Athens, TN (located off of I-75 between Knoxville & Chattanooga). The EHS Coordinator will ensure compliance reputed company regulation and company commitments to the safety and health of employees and best practices in the prevention of adverse environmental impacts, under the Company Guidelines. He or she is also responsible for developing programs to ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, completion of required EHS training, acts as primary liaison between reputed company party auditors, governmental organizations, internal auditors, and management. The EHS Coordinator provides direction and coaching to reputed company functional Engineers in the plant in the improvement of environmental, health, and safety metrics.Responsibilities of the EHS Coordinator:
- Identify EHS improvement opportunities in support of the operations EHS efforts and global direction.

- Computer skills (MS Office)
- 5-7 years' experience in manufacturing and managing with compliance to EHS Standards and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of U.S. OSHA and EPA regulations, knowledge of international equivalents are needed either in knowledge or training.
- Ability to effectively train an adult learning environment.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment as it relates to EHS standards and regulation.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Capable of coordinating many projects and managing teams and correctly identifying the existing personnel to support projects.
- Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish are preferable but not required.

- Salary range $68,000-$70,000. Specific salary is commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications, and licenses, skills, and training.
