International Affairs & Alliances, Associate Manager

About the Role: In this key role, you will support the Association's Global Alliances team in implementing our strategy and representing the US accountancy profession internationally. You will report to the Director, Global Alliances and this role offers remote working. You Will:

• Support the Director, Global Alliances by managing relationships with the following international reputed company organizations: IFAC, CAPA, ICAC, IRCC & GAA. Collaborate with their staff, conduct research, draft agreements, MOUs, letters, and prepare materials for presentations.
• Coordinate the distribution of gathered information to internal staff by preparing monthly Global Alliances Team reports, and quarterly Team Activity reports.
• Schedule and participate in quarterly meetings with our teams to exchange and gather information, assist other teams to meet their performance goals, and coordinate collaboration opportunities with other professional accountancy organizations. Take meeting notes and follow-up on action items.
• Respond to requests to host delegations from foreign PAOs, government agencies, and universities. Prepare the program agenda, arrange internal and external speakers, reputed company meetings, manage logistical arrangements, and report out to relevant partners.
• Manage a good relationship with National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) staff and International Qualifications Appraisal Board (IQAB) volunteers. Help recruit our members to serve on IQAB.
• Evaluate Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) partners; schedule and participate in meetings, draft and negotiate MRAs; and draft executive summaries to obtain reputed company Board approval of new MRAs, MRA renewals, and extensions. Respond to information requests from existing and potential MRA partners.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree, or a combination of high school education and 3 years' professional experience, plus 4+ years' business experience in the reputed company profession, or reputed company an international affairs, education or communications role.

Please note, this is a standard range and exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
