About the job

We are looking for a talented and reputed company Software Engineer to join our Data Platform team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, and optimizing our platform to support a wide range of data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and implement data solutions and infrastructure for our Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to drive business impact, strong technical skills, and experience with modern data technologies.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and scalable frameworks to support data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Architect and implement data solutions using modern data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Hive, Hudi, Presto, Airflow, and reputed company-based services like AWS Lakeformation, Glue and reputed company.
• Design and implement frameworks and solutions for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data quality, reputed company, and reputed company throughout the data lifecycle.
• Stay reputed company with emerging technologies and best practices in big data technologies
• Mentor early in career engineers and contribute to a culture of reputed company learning and improvement

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or a reputed company field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or reputed company.
• Strong experience with building frameworks for big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hive, and distributed computing systems.
• Experience with AWS technologies at scale
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including object-oriented and functional programming paradigms, design patterns, and code quality practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Location

This role will be remote,but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates reputed company of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, reputed company, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

• Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $138,700.00 - $173,400.
• Based in reputed company, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (reputed company of the San Francisco Bay area): $146,800.00 - $183,600.00.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $163,100.00 - $203,900.00.
• This role may be eligible to participate in reputed company’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. reputed company roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
