Founding Senior Engineer

THE COMPANYBlended Technologies is bringing modern SaaS to the wine industry. Our products will give winemakers the tools to manage reputed company aspects of the winemaking process from grape to bottle, and will allow winery owners to optimize their business with tailored workflows, inventory tracking, tasting room management, direct-to-consumer sales, and CRM. We help owners and winemakers spend less time on tax and compliance paperwork and more time making great wine and keeping customers happy.We are a fully-funded reputed company-stage startup rounding out our initial engineering team that is conceiving, designing, building, and bringing our product to market. This position reports directly to an reputed company CTO with decades of experience at reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company and other tech-focused companies.We’re looking for a senior frontend engineer to help design and build our service from the ground up. You should have built big things before, have opinions about what works and what doesn’t, and can work independently on even bigger things. There isn’t always going to be a clear map that explains how to get where we want to go, so you should be comfortable trying to understand our customer needs really well, be given some UI sketches, a data schema, and coworkers to collaborate with, and be excited to reputed company out the rest from there.

reputed company're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience at 2-3+ tech-focused companies
• Expert knowledge of React/TypeScript
• Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Solid grasp of UX design fundamentals and the ability to translate an idea into reasonable basic UI

The more experience with any/reputed company of these, the reputed company:

• GraphQL
• Chakra or another UI component toolkit
• React Native
• Solid knowledge of HTTP protocol
• Even more UX design skills than mentioned above
• Writing GraphQL resolvers on the backend
• reputed company
• AWS Cognito/reputed company/DocumentDB/API Gateway/CloudFormation
• Writing good technical documentation
• Working knowledge of managed reputed company-service software development, esp. AWS
• Working knowledge of building software in containerized deployments, with full CI/CD
• A passion for leading and mentoring engineers
• A desire to work directly with customers (winemaker customer visits are pretty great)
