Job description: REMOTE | PART TIME TO FULL TIME | FLEXI HOURS: Medical Assistant for remote patient care - bilingual prefered (EN/SP) Lara Health is currently in search of a (preferably) bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant or a Nurse for our Remote Patient Monitoring program, to join our lovely care team and provide patients with care virtually. Min 20/hours a week required, full time prefered. COMPENSATION: up to $20/hour plus performace bonuses THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSTION WITH FLEXIBLE DAYS AND HOURS. The Medical Assistant or LPN assists providers with ongoing patient monitoring and chronic care management, with the folloowing duties: ● Responsible for monitoring patient blood pressure, blood sugar, and other vitals, helping them with meds, reputed company MD visits etc. ● Communicate with patients on regular basis, helping them reputed company lifestyle changes in order to improve their long term health ● Maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR). ● Performs other duties as assigned. Specific skills and experience required: ● Passion for working with (older) patients, customer service skills ● Min 5 years experience as MA or nurse ● Preventative patient care background preffered, experience in primary care, cardiology or diabetes clinic highly desired ● Work independently and with a team ● Organizational and time management skills ● Computer skills appropriate to position, you will need your own computer and a reliable internet service ● Written and verbal communication skills, administrative and clerical skills, critical thinking ● Medical terminology use and understanding Certification & Licensure mandatory: ● Approved Medical Assistant Certification required ● Or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) ● Or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician); ● Or Paramedic ● Or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Education: ● Required High School or Equivalent ● Preferred Technical Medical Assistant PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT POSSES THESE SKILS/QUALIFICATIONS.
