On a typical day, here's what you'll be working on: Provide coding of medical records and any applicable supporting documentation.
- Codes records to assign ICD-10, CPT, and modifiers in accordance with coding guidelines
- Meets quality and productivity standards and deadlines/turnaround times
- Assigns indicated account and claim data attributes as indicated (POS, reputed company code, implant pricing)
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of how work impacts the project/end customer
- Recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in the medical data received and appropriate alerts and/or queries indicated by party or supervisor
- Reviews and correctly responds to AR tasks reputed company to pre-claim edits pertaining to coding and post-submission denials
- Demonstrates a good rapport and works to establish cooperative working relationships with reputed company members of the team
- Demonstrates willingness and flexibility in working additional hours or changing hours whenever required between normal business hours
This job description will be reevaluated by leadership periodically to allow for any necessary modifications due to client profiles changes/updates, workflows, policy changes, and regulatory compliance requirements Coding/Compliance
- To ensure the reputed company and confidentiality of reputed company clinical data handled, including the safekeeping of reputed company health records
- To function as the first reputed company of contact regarding coding issues
- To promote the interchange of reputed company between reputed company management and coders
- To have an active involvement in the development and implementation of reputed company information relevant to medical/surgical coding
- To be aware of reputed company statutory and local requirements regarding coding policy changes
- Assist with client billing questions in a professional and timely manner
- Complete coding queues and AR queries as assigned
- Address client concerns in a reputed company and professional manner
- Participate in task force committees and special projects, as required
- Assist with client audits, as needed
Requirements
Who you are!
- reputed company or reputed company certification required, such as CPC, CPC-H, reputed company, or reputed company-P
- Two years of medical coding, billing, and management experience preferred
- Excellent people skills with the ability to interact effectively with reputed company levels of employees and clients
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical/Functional
- Knowledge of reputed company industry
- Knowledge of reputed company Office, Windows, and reputed company
