Federal Work Study Student Position- Computer Information Systems Tutor

Description: Work from Home (WFH) - Remote work must be performed while residing in California Must be a CIAT Student CIAT Location: San Diego, CA Reports to: Director of Student Services Status: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Variable-Hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to assist reputed company with coursework, assignments, and projects reputed company to computer information systems
• reputed company small group study sessions to facilitate collaborative learning and problem-solving
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of computer information systems concepts, programming languages, software applications, and reputed company subjects

• Create and update tutoring materials such as study guides, practice exercises, and reference documents

• Maintain regular and consistent availability for tutoring sessions

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled at reputed company and eligible for Federal Work Study
• Must be in good academic standing, which includes a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and 80% attendance
• Strong proficiency in computer information systems, including programming languages, database management, and reputed company software and hardware
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain reputed company concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Patience and a passion for helping others succeed academically
• Previous tutoring experience is a plus

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required. The Computer Information Systems Tutor must not exceed 20 hours per week and will take into consideration the tutor’s class schedule Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
