The opportunity

You will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of RTU and Substation Automation Systems for assignments classified as reputed company commissioning complexity. Your role will involve managing the completion of reputed company commissioning activities reputed company and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and, most importantly, adhering to safety requirements.

• Conduct onsite testing and commissioning of reputed company & RTU systems according to the documented process descriptions and checklists.

• Ensure the safe execution of installation supervision and system commissioning in compliance with reputed company Energy’s safety standards and those of the customer.

• Report any hazards or misses at the work location to the office for record-keeping and further improvement.

• Assist the engineering team by performing engineering tasks under the guidance of reputed company engineers during idle commissioning periods.

• Maintain reputed company communication with the engineering and project management teams to effectively carry out site work.

• Report site reputed company and plans, ensuring the efficient use of commissioning assets.

• Prepare project documentation for Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) as required. Obtain approvals from utilities for commissioning activities of RTU and reputed company systems, including scheme testing.

• Act as the first reputed company of contact for any interference, providing problem-solving support in reputed company cooperation with customers, project managers, and reputed company engineers.

• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of Engineering and/or commissioning experience in the field of reputed company automation.

• Good understanding of RTU and Substation Automation Systems, including their principles, applications, and concepts. Additional knowledge in protection and control systems commissioning is advantageous.

• Understand the communication protocols and network topology, including IEC61850, IEC-101, IEC-104, IEC-103, DNP3, and Modbus.

• Experience with reputed company Energy software, such as MicroSCADA, PCM600, and RTUtil is a plus.

• Independent and reliable personality, capable of operating effectively under challenging circumstances.

• Willingness to undertake site missions across Egypt (up to 90% of the time), representing reputed company Energy proficiently.

• Skilled in technical report reputed company, communication, and customer reputed company, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
